Our online webinars are a great option for concentrated training sessions with up-to-date information and techniques on important topics, without the expense, travel or time investment of live classes.
As former law enforcement officers, the staff at PATCtech understands the limitations that you may be under when it comes to training. Budgets are stretched to the limit, and the demands of the job make it difficult to set aside a specific date and time to sit down and attend on-line training. And even if you can manage to sit down to watch a webinar in the middle of the day, there is no guarantee you won’t get called away before it ends. So we attempt to make our online training as convenient and accessible as possible.
As we always have, we encourage group viewing of our on-line training. Whether you are one person watching on a mobile device, or a whole shift watching on a projector, one registration for the live session will cover as many viewers as you wish on a single screen. At the end of the training, each viewer can log into our testing portal and print an individual certificate of attendance.
In the past, your registration was good for either the live version or the recorded version of the training, but not both. We know that some viewers end up not being able to finish the live session due to the demands of their duties. We also know that the training being provided may be better absorbed with repeated viewings. So now your registration for a webinar will include both the live and recorded versions. You will receive a registration code for the live version, and once the live version ends, you will receive a new registration code for the recorded version, giving you 30 days of access to the recording.
Our goal at PATCtech is to provide relevant, accessible, up-to-date training that assists our public agencies in their duties. Please feel free to email us with any suggestions you have for us.
If you register for the majority of our webinars before the end of the live session, your registration will include the live session, as well as 30 days of access to the recorded session. Upon registering, you will receive an email with a link to the live session, along with a registration code. Once the live session has ended, you will receive an email with a new link to the recorded version and a new registration code, which will grant you 30 days of access to the recording.
For the majority of our webinars, we encourage group viewing on a single screen. Whether you are one person on a mobile device, or a whole training room full watching on a projector, one registration will enable each viewer to participate in the live webinar, access the testing portal and print out an individual certificate of attendance. This option is not available for our certification webinars. Each registration for a certification webinar is only good for one student.
The majority of our webinars are available for purchase as a recorded version, after the live session has ended. Please note that for some webinars, such as certification webinars or the cell records series, the recorded version may not be available for purchase once the live version has ended.
Our webinars utilize the Webex Training Manager. The first time you join a webinar session with us, the Training Manager will automatically be downloaded and installed. However, if you would like to download and install the Training Manager prior to the session starting, it is available at the following links. Please note that you must have administrative rights on your machine in order to install the Training Manager.
